Is there anything as sweet as quiet playtime? No fighting...and the monetary investment we've made in the purchase of toys for our children is being put to good use.
Micah said that he is playing "dosh", which means "crash". I guess he was inspired by the NASCAR race that Aaron was watching at the time.

Look at all those matchbox cars! Would you believe that poor Brody has NO matchbox cars as of yet? Lots of trains, blocks and toy cars in general...but NO matchbox cars. I certainly know though what the girls will be getting him for his Birthday and Christmas this year!

We just had Brady's 2nd bday and Carl and I had absolutely no idea what to get him....I mean really, my kids have ridiculous amounts of toys and the last thing we wanted to do was add to the collection. We finally thought about "what does he take from his siblings all the time?" We had to rule out the baby stroller and princess shoes and settled on matchbox cars. We just bought him a carrying case that is actually a tractor trailer that can hold 44 cars or trucks. Very cool!! It came with 12 cars and we bought him an additional 10. He was in his own car dreamland when he opened everything up. He has a bucket that SPencer gave him that he like to carry them around in from room to room and of course he LOVES the truck carrying case. So when I saw that picture I thought "yep, car dreamland!!"
