Lots to be thankful for this week. A.J. received 3 character awards at school in the past two weeks; one for good behavior on the bus, one for being a responsible kid, and one for being "caught in the act" of being patient and polite in the hallway. Imagine that!! I am so thankful that, after a rocky transition to first grade, my little boy is thriving in his new school.

God works in mysterious ways. I thought his school was the worst one in the district...but now I realize its a great school, with a great principle, and A.J. is right where God wants him right now. Thank you, Lord, for being in control!
